COMMUNITY PLANNING COMMITTEE
COMMITTEE CHARGE
The Committee shall evaluate current and future facilities needs and develop a comprehensive plan to address district facility conditions to support quality educational programs and student opportunities.
The Committee will provide facility recommendations to the Evadale ISD Board of Trustees after thorough assessment and analysis of relevant data.

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS
The committee has determined that the facilities need work well beyond the scope of our being able to finance the work from our M&O funds. The committee recommends that the board look at addressing the list of priorities through an I&S election for additional funds. The committee was unanimous that we address the plumbing work for all campuses, and roof issues. There was strong consensus that the Elementary and Junior high needed to be either built new or fully renovated. There was also consensus to address the high school as a new or renovated facilities.
Independent Facility Study
In 2020 Claycomb Associates Architects completed a comprehensive facility study to assist the Evadale ISD Board of Trustees and community in reviewing the current conditions and develop a plan to address issues .
